Happy Thanksgiving!


Mom & Ken came down for the holiday.

Mom cooked the bird and pretty much everything else. It was yummy.



Carlos and Alex came over later on and we had peppermint candycane drinks a la Carlos.

The movie, of course, was not as good as the book, but Rob Pattinson was a sublime Edward Cullen. I started reading the book series about a month ago, and was aware that the movie was in production so it was not hard for me to give into Catherine Hardwicke’s interpretation of Edward. Besides RP is totally hot. Yes, I digress...

Gramma's Birthday Lunch

Dad & Claudette spent the last week or so visiting Peter and I. We decided to take advantage of having them here and celebrate a belated birthday for Gramma. Aunt Nancy and Uncle Tony came up from Linden for the afternoon and Aunt Nancy brought a delicious meal. We played some Mexican Train and had a great time!

So after considering several locations we finally booked our winter vacation. I convinced Peter to take a whole week off in January. We'll get to spend one night in New York City (neither of us have been), and then off to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil! It will be a little crazy since I have my winter sales meeting in Orlando, Florida the week before with only one day back home before we leave for our South American adventure!


The Porto Bay Rio International on Avenida Atlantica, Praia de Copacabana (Copacabana Beach). Ipanema is right next door.

Flogging Molly: An outstanding seven person band that mixes traditional Irish folk, punk music, and drinking songs into a really fun sound that will stir up the Celtic blood in anyone (even if they do not have any Celtic blood!)
